Happy Birthday Kevin Sorbo!

Today in History:

          - 1869: "Black Friday" Gold prices plummet.
          - 1906: Us President Theodore Roosevelt proclaims Devil's Tower the nations first national monument.
          - 1948: Honda Motor Company is founded.

Day 19. Clay Aiken is gay??? Yes!!!! In ancient Latvia today was the only day of the year during which men could propose... so typical of Latvians

Rolled out of bed at 5:15 tossed on a blue hoodie, black shorts, white bandanna, and one long white sock. I walked out the door, fell to the pavement for 35 push ups, and took off.  I elected to head south into the District for a light 6.06 mile run to the National Cathedral and back. There were plenty of people out, especially at the Friendship Heights Metro Station. The L8 bus pulled up and at least 20 workers hurried off the bus and down the escalator to the metro.

Once at the Cathedral I jogged up to the front stoop and established 36 push ups. Sprinklers were spraying and  two planes soared above through a starry moonlit sky. As I got up to head home I looked to my right and saw a man having a conversation with someone, but no one was there. It wasn't a heated argument. He just seemed to be shooting the S*$T. He was mid-forties. fairly well dressed, and enjoying a cigarette. He noticed I was looking at him and kind of gave me a half-wave as if he knew I had caught him.

I saw four dogs today.
