Kevin: Day 1893

Day 1893. Quite the little Friday morning. I didn't get too much sleep in, kind of just woke up around 5am half ready to go. You know when you're up, but you're not completely up, but you're still up. Yeah, it was kind of like that. I did some laundry, scrambled some eggs, ate a banana, filled out a dog adoption questionnaire, signed up for trunk club, downloaded Meditations by Marcus Aurelius, paid a couple bills, checked fantasy line ups, and... dug into the world of podcasts, WOAH. Where have I been. Over the next few months I just may become the smartest man in the world. I can listen to podcasts all day when I'm in the car.

I listened to Marcus during my jog, kind of weird, kind of cool. A run is a great time to get philisophical. You're heart rates up, your mind is sharp. A couple gems for you to chew on today:

"Anything in any way beautiful derives its beauty from itself, and asks nothing beyond itself. Praise is no part of it, for nothing is made worse or better by praise. " -Marcus Aurelius

"Our life is what our thoughts make it." Marcus

Love Marcus. Look at this guy -->

Buddy, who would be re-named Paul Revere... is a lab mix. He is 4 years old but looks like a puppy!!! He's housebroken, loves kids, and other dogs!! I need him now.

Off to the streets. Yes, it was a good run. Looking forward to a long one tomorrow!
