Haven't seen the official time cards yet, but early reports from insider sources are Aaron "Abs" Shock placed 2nd to Senator John Thune in ACLI Capital Challenge as fastest member... Aaron's new mission is to beat Thune in life... no comment.

If you haven't heard of John Thune, you will. One hyphentated word, jaw-line. I mean, look at the picture. His wife's not staring into his eyes. She's locked on that chiseled cheek. Baker would and will be all over this guy. The South Dakota Senate member says he's not going to enter the 2012 presidential race, not buying it.

Man, back to back elected official running stories; lots of talk around the greatest exercise on two feet in politics these days. The papers were reporting just weeks ago how newly elected Senator Brown was spotted running on the mall with Thune and "keeping pace". And we all read the "Wily" Coyote chronicle yesterday. It appears there is a lucid correlation between running for sport and running for office...
