Kevin: Day 5110

Day 5110. I haven't got my jog in yet today. I'm en route now to get a new wedding ring. It is our 6th wedding anniversary and Nicole is driving, giving me the opportunity to get a quick post in. We were in California visiting her family in July. I took a dip, including some body surfing, in the Pacific. When I got out, my wedding ring had fallen off. My diet change over the past year or so has slimmed my fingers a bit. Hopefully my lesson was learned. Nicole took the ring loss surprisingly well. 

Good news to report. My throat feels much better. I do think I bruised it internally, which I can't recall ever doing. Perhaps this has happened in the past, in a lesser way, unbeknownst to me.

I had hoped to get a 5 mile plus run in today, but am not sure I will be able to squeeze it in. For the immediate future, I have Merrick duty from 5:00am to 8:00am, then I take Serafina to school. So, my morning runs have been diminished. Once Merrick is jogging stroller ready, this will change. I'm counting down the days.
