Zach: Day 22 of 10,220

Congratulations Campbells Soup for being the only Comapany in the S&P 500 to see their stock rise on Monday.  The other 499 stocks tanked while the world's largest soup manufacturer rose 12 cents.  Everyone likes soup.  It's mmm mmm...good!

Congratulations to the United States Senate for approving the $700 billion dollar financial bailout!  Now its back to the HOR.  If it passes will this help turn the economy around or should we let the market run its course?  Guess we'll find out pretty soon.  I just know that when the economy is in the tank that people still need hot dogs so I'm safe.

Also runningfor28years.squarespace.com would like to offer its condolences to the family of Milt Davis.  Davis spent four seasons with the Baltimore Colts (1957-60) and led the NFL in interceptions in 1957 and 1959. He played a key role on the 1958 team that beat the New York Giants 23-17 in overtime for the title. In the championship game, Davis played with two broken bones in his right foot and forced a first-half fumble by Frank Gifford.  Two broken bones in his foot?!  They don't make em like they used to.  We'll miss you Milt.

Tonigh's run came very late.  I worked the 12 hour shift today and got off at 9:00.  I'm getting the AC fixed tommorrow so I'm crashing at Uncle Tim's house tonight.  I arrived wearing my Nike running shoes, khaki columbia swim trunks, and a white trim spa t-shirt featuring a picture of Anna Nicole Smith on the back.  I won it when I was a freshman at Rio Nightlife on 25 cent beer night.  Those were the days.

When I arrived at Tim's house I got out of the car, put on my headband and started running around the block.  I ran pretty hard yesterday so tonight I kept it fairly basic.  I made four and a half solid trips around the block which accounted for 1.7 miles.  I encountered no mammal species of anykind.  No cats, no raccoons, nothing.  I just put in my dad's Ipod and listened to a couple of his downloads by the Irish Tenors.  Listening to a gifted Irish vocalist sing "Danny Boy" and "Galway Bay" is extremely peaceful yet inspiring.  Never the less, I need to figure out how to download some new stuff.  When I got back to Tim's house I did 53 consecutive push-ups in the garage.  Nothing can stop the fire within.

Zach's quote for the Day:    "Trimspa Baby!"  -Anna Nicole Smith

This quote helped Trimspa skyrocket their sales from a near $2 million dollars in late 2002, to an astounding $168 million dollars in 2004!
